- 7,315 industrially produced tension-free Plexiglas mouldings each with 3,700 mm length.
- Together with Jules Verne of the University of Nantes, k-tec and other Austrian experts developed a moulded part with wind-stabilizing geometry for the entire length of the road surface, appx. 60.000 m².
- The highest pylon of the bridge is 343m high, the highest wind speeds can reach more than 180 km / h.
- The combination of extremely low weight, incredible formability and the highest degree of transparency were the decisive criterion in Norman Foster choosing our material and technology for his bridge. Without synthetic construction, the fine-art architecture of the bridge would not have been possible.
